Little beauty!

A male Stonechat photographed at Marston sewage works, Lincolnshire. E5/300mm f2.8 combo still not disappointing. 1/1250th @f3.2, ISO 200. Large crop.

Beautiful shot,great detail and colours.

Hope you don't mind but as there is a lot of empty space either side of the subject would it help to crop both sides a bit more to give a portrait orientation.

Just my thoughts.

He is indeed a beauty, and you've captured all the detail too.

I'd just trim a teeny bit off the left, moving the bird a bit closer to the edge of the picture but leaving plenty of space for him to 'move into'.
