Olympus Film Debut

I watched a film with the family last night - its a new disney film called old dogs with John Travolta & Robin Williams, pretty decent family film

Right at the end they are all lining up to have their photo taken and the photographer pulls out a olympus e-620 (I thinks its a 620), just thought it was cool to see rather than the usual nikon or canons in films

Re: Olympus Film Debut

Stephen Mangam (Green Wing) played a photographer in a film called Someone Else and shot with an Olympus. Like you say, it makes a ncie change.

Re: Olympus Film Debut

Super weird. Haven't been to this site in weeks and just saw the movie for the first time tonight. When the camera appeared on screen I said to my wife and son "Hey that's an Olympus, might be my E620", but then I realized I think it is the E-3. Regardless, pretty cool to see the Oly gear in a movie. Strange how I saw the movie tonight and wandered to this thread tonight as well...
