Hidden codes

You probably know about this site http://www.biofos.com/cornucop/hidden.html
The info for the E500 works for the E400 but does anybody know any more of the codes?

Re: Hidden codes

It looks awfully complicated. Do you think you would use it for real?

Re: Hidden codes

Hi Ellie
with that amount of noise reduction and the fact that I like using a HDR workflow with Raw images means I am using the ISO 50 most of the time...it may well not be worth it for more normal work flows or jpeg capture

If you want stick on a post-it note in your camera bag...

Prg 10

Unless you change the ISO it will stay at 50...give it a go and see if it is for you

Re: Hidden codes

I've just done my E400 and will be out to take some shots and see the results.

The exact instructions were not perfect, but I got there in the end. If I get any good shots I will post one of them.

Not the right sort of subject, but time and location was limited! At least the 50 asa 'hidden' setting does show less noise/grain. Get myself out earlier with the tripod next time!

Re: Hidden codes

That's a nice capture...

It makes you wonder as to why the ISO 50 mode was not implemented...

I do not know if Canikon [spit] are the same but Olympus does not seem to want to produce a customer focussed camera

Anyway I look forward to further feed back on the ISO 50 and any other hidden stuff...

Re: Hidden codes

The swan shows me why I need ISO 50!

I'll play around with this in a week or so, thanks.

Re: Hidden codes

Keep us posted on how it goes. I've managed to find the setting but I'm really happy with the amount of noise (lack of) I see in the E-400 images, up to 400ASA, so I'm not sure it's going to be for me. Maybe if they included it in a firmware update. Or if I go somewhere *really* sunny.

Re: Hidden codes

Does anybody know if there is a sequence that works for the e410? Looks like it's been disabled or changed.
