This is an illusion. I used to insist that that was the case.

DOF at a given magnification is a function of aperture and nothing to do with the focal length. Focal length is mostly about working distance for macro.

Tom, is this the new Sigma 150mm lens selling around 600 you mean?

What camera mount does your lens have and how do you attach it to the m4/3 camera?

Hi Paul

My Sigma 150mm is the 4/3 version and I use the MMF 3 to attach it to the EM-1, EM-5. The lens is quick to snap into focus on the EM-1 too, you can only buy a pre-loved lens as Sigma no longer make the 4/3 version.
