Hope someone captured this mornings sunrise at a better location

Saw what was happening to late to do it justice so just ran out the kitchen door and snapped a few before it disappeared. I hope someone else was more prepared and had gone to a decent location to grab this stunning display. All sooc except for a little cropping on some.

Streuth - that's a beauty isn't it. Your location wasn't all that bad, the second shot's really nice IMHO.

I think your location works really well....you could have driven around for ages looking for trees like that!

Stunning photos....we didn't have a sunrise like that....well not that I saw anyway!

Re: Hope someone captured this mornings sunrise at a better location

Thanks everyone although I just grabbed the camera, mother nature did the hard work. I got some funny looks from our neighbour as I pranced around the garden in my pyjamas but it was worth it.

Re: Hope someone captured this mornings sunrise at a better location

The things we do for our art! On Friday morning I got caught photographing a caterpillar in my dressing gown by a couple of our neighbours. To make it worse they came over to see what I was up to.

Well done for getting such good shots at short notice. Number four just pips two for my vote.

Another vote for #2. I do like this time of year when I can see the sun rise without having to get up especially to do so.

Re: Hope someone captured this mornings sunrise at a better location

I think that you made great use of the location, especially like the framing of the last one.
