A bit of very basic advice wanted

Please don't get too technical with me. these are only for snaps!

I've "sort of" mastered my E520 and am taking some good (for me) photos.

The wife wants to give some to the outlaws in the form of a photo album.
There are about 100 photos from birthadays, golden wedding etc over this summer.

I've tidied them up using Picasa and now not sure what to do.
Theres seems to be hundreds of companies on the web were you can make up a book - I want recommendations of who is easy to use, reasonably priced & decent results

How about Jessops or Tescos (someone has recommended Aldi) - my guess is these are just fronts for one or two general companies.
Are they really as easy to use as the sites suggest??
Do they take forever to down load or am I missing something?

Re: A bit of very basic advice wanted

Several of us have (myself included) have used Photobox

http://www.photobox.co.uk/shop/photo-books

and have been pleased with the results. There have been one or two issues with either the binding or colour issues - as I recall (and I haven't had a problem) these have all been quickly resolved on contact with Photobox.

Personally I'd recommend them

(and yes the software is easy to use)

Nick

What Nick says. Photobox are fine for what you want.

I've had my best results through Jessops, who use CeWe.

I've used Jessops and photobox, Jessops saves you postage if collected from store, also Jessops applied some lightening of the image, compared to photobox, where I think exposure came out a tad towards the darker side. would not hesitate to use either again.

Hi

I have used Aldi more than once and I am in the process of putting another book together at the moment. I think they are probably the same as Jessops
