A few Hours in London

Had a few hours spare between meetings to do a bit of "groundwork" for a future full days snapping in London, all shot with a 17mm f1.8 on my Pen F, all processed from raw with Silver efex pro 2

Wonderful. You got some great viewpoints and compositions. (You also had some high viewpoints for some). I find the first and last ones particularly appealing.

Re: A few Hours in London

I agree with the others you have a great eye for angles. Some superb shots there, if this was just a scouting expedition images from the actual trip will be worth waiting for.

Re: A few Hours in London

Fantastic set. You have a great eye for images in complex built environments.

It would be fun to discuss exactly where each of us would crop these scenes (we’d probably all come up with something slightly different!). I suspect my only other point relates to these being ‘exploratory’ rather than definitive: I’d say the only way a couple of them could be improved is by waiting until there’s a more artistic arrangement of people in the frame, but that can take ages that you probably didn’t have on this occasion.

Do post the definitive versions.

Re: A few Hours in London

Great choice of viewing points - I can't work out where they were.
