E-1 shutter lag

Can anyone help, my E1 has a really delayed shutter, from the minute I press the shutter to take my photo it locks up them waits a few seconds and then takes the photo. Is this normal? Or have I changed settings somewhere?

Thanks

I think it's a useful post, I'm certain that I'm bound to do this at some point, but now when it happens, I will remember your post, and not question that my E-1 has gone kaput.

Re: E-1 shutter lag

You can also set the timer to two second delay and forget you have set it, that sometimes can catch you out.
