If its difficult to choose, do it by points for subject and overall quality. You pointed this out several challenges ago...

It was easy then when that competition had a "Rule" to follow. This, it's everything is possible and accepted.

Last day today. Pls submit more. Make it more mind blowing.

Re: September 2019 Challenge: Landscape

I agree, this will be a difficult choice. I've gone to a simpler assessment method of two questions, which ones inspire me and which would I put on my wall. Unfortunately that still leaves me with all of them
One thing I will say is that having all very different sizes also makes this a harder task. It would be good to see them all the same size and on one scrollable page. Don't suppose that's possible though.

Re: September 2019 Challenge: Landscape

Last day for submissions......

I find that size matters......a full screen hits you in the eye, too big is frustrating as you cannot see the photo in the whole....too small and you don't see the detail.....

So presentation is part of the game......

Some people only look at photos on their mobile phone, others have Hi-Res large computer screens, and every size in between. So for the challenge entries only should we have a "standard size"?

Re: September 2019 Challenge: Landscape

I'd say yes they should be a standard size.

Should;

1. Partakers be responsible for sizing etc
or
2. Should Admin/me resize appropriately.

I am in favour of the first option...Pooter screen works well for landscape, but not so well for portrait.

I think if we insist on a standard size, it will be a nightmare for some....

Mark,

Add a "preferred size" to the opening post so that the majority are correct, just got to accept that not everyone uses software that is easy to re-size accurately in.

Sometimes it's not more then the widest edge. But then Panoramas if going by the widest edge may be tiny in height
