Wedding Hairdresser advice please..

I've been asked to photograph a model in a wedding day prep setting at the hairdressers salon to be used to promote the hairdressers bride's hairdo services. So I need to focus on the hair. We will also be going to a Church setting.
I have two moonlights and umbrellas and E-M5 and 12, 17,25,45, 75 lenses.
Any ideas on approach/ setup / composition ideas etc etc?

Re: Wedding Hairdresser advice please..

Use a mirror to show both sides of the styling.
Use a LED torch as a hair highlight and use tissue paper to soften the lighting as required.
watch for reflections from Tiaras etc and try to catch a highlight from same.
Use a little uplighting to avoid shadows under hair ,ears, nose and chin.

Hope this helps a little, Brian.

Re: Wedding Hairdresser advice please..

So this is not an actual wedding shoot - In which case its more about the hair, hands , tools etc - closeups of detail and pullbacks of wider setting - have a look at some wedding sets to see the norm then get much better - Hairspray can often work in B/W

shot over shoulder showing hairdresser working from rear and brides face.
