Exclamation How to claim your commemorative Olympus OM1 miniature

To celebrate the launch of the digital OM or OM-D E-M5 Olympus has produced a commemorative miniature of an OM-1 with two lenses that actually fit the OM body. This is what they look like and you can see from the last photo how small these models are:

The presentation box comes with an OM-1 body and two lenses and these are not made for sale.

If you would like one of these commemorative OM kits, please send a forum Private Mail to the Admin account here, including your postal address.

In other words, go here:

http://e-group.uk.net/forum/private.php?do=newpm

..and enter Admin as your recipient.

Please note, you must be a registered forum member to be able to submit your claim. To dissuade freeloaders registering on the forum just for this offer, you will need to be registered as a Full Member, having made the requisite number of posts to achieve that status on the forum. We reserve the right to exclude those who register and simply post worthless posts in order to achieve the Full Member status.

I'm sorry but this offer is only for UK and Ireland residents. If I have any left over later in the year I may consider our friends from overseas.

Please allow up to 28 days for delivery, which will be via 2nd Class post. There is a chance that demand will outstrip supply, so we will process claims by order of receipt.

You will receive an acknowledgement of your claim by forum mail (this may take a day or two, so please be patient and you will also receive a notification once your package has been posted.

If you have any questions, please post them here.

Ian

Re: How to claim your commemorative Olympus OM1 miniature

Hey Ian, can you either unlock the original thread or post FlemmingS's post to a new thread so I can reply to it. It was the last post asking about OM bodies before you closed the thread.

Still have a UK address but don't really one one. Still got an equipment cabinet full of the real things.

If I get one, I shall run some unexposed 35mm film through my shredder. The strips come out at about 4mm wide, just about right!!

Have cleared a spot in the display area just awaiting delivery and my Cankon friend visiting to tell them the latest 55Mb Olympus camera with micro abilities was kept a big secret by Olympus!

Many thanks to Ian.

Can I have a little strap to hang it round Dibnah the Jack Russell's neck? Just think of the low viewpoint shots she could get! On second thoughts, knowing what is at the same level as a dog's nose ....

Just can't wait to see one in the RAW! It was my first quality camera and stayed with me for years together with the OM-2.
