The Adobe CS applications get updated about every 18 months, so it's probably a year until CS4 (but don't quote me).

PhotoShop is very good value if you qualify for education discount – and if you're likely to use Acrobat/Illustrator etc. it makes a lot of sense to buy one of the bundles.

I got an e-mail from Adobe cos I have a legal copy of elements! I think it will still be about £300 though so I will have to have to stay with elements. Its still tomuch.
