1st Macro just got 35mm

This is the first macro shot I have ever attempted.Just bought the 35mm 2hrs ago and am lovin it.Couldn't resist with the cashback offer,seemed to good to pass up.

I have one of these too, and though I don't use it that often, I'd never part with it. I have sometimes used it for portraits - to good effect too - it got me a shot subsequently used on an artists CD cover

I love my little 35mm and use it quite a lot, its totally sharp for closeup macros, but as John said try it for portraits too, its surprising how good the quality is for a small amount of glass
