Guide to firmware 4.0 E-M1

I came across this guide to the latest firmware 4.0. http://friedmanarchives.com/~downloa...Firmware_4.pdf

As those of us who have already installed this firmware know it considerably enhanses the features of the E-M1. There has been an update of the manual available from the Olympus website. This Friedman guide is a useful addition and is available for free download.

Yes, this is an update/addition to his complete guide which is well worth the small amount it sells for - especially when you get free updates produced like this!

Yes, his complete guide is very useful and much more readable than the official Olympus manual. Given the complexity of the camera and its menu system we need all the help we can get.

Re: Guide to firmware 4.0 E-M1

I agree that this is a useful guide and worth the small cost to get all the documents. I have it on my tab & phone as pdf along with all the other manuals and just saves so much bulky paper just in case I need to refer. The main benefit of pdf's is doing a search for words or phrases beats looking up the index.
