Lancaster NX611 "Just Jane"

Yesterday I was at East Kirkby (Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre) for a photography evening with the lancaster. Very good event which included a taxi run and a fantastic group of re-enactors. He's a just a few from the day including some mono.

Re: Lancaster NX611 "Just Jane"

It looks like they were really going for it in No 1, a bit more than "re-enactment" I think!

I love the composition and quality of light in No 2, it's a superb picture.

Lovely light in the second shot. And good "acting"!

Re: Lancaster NX611 "Just Jane"

Thanks for the comments, I like No2 but I do like to try a mono version. The evening light was the best we had all day, creating a nice effect. Earlier there had been far too much white cloud very bland.
I had to go and visit mother in hospital so I will try and post a few more later.

Nice shots and even though I like B&W, the colour versions are superb and the light on the aircraft in N0.2 is stunning.
