150mm F2

Well having bought the lens from here I thought I ought to post a picture taken with it. This is Macey who is laying on Hattie - I am so impressed with this lens as this was a dull day and taken in our living room.

Cheers
Mark

Re: 150mm F2

Hi Mark - you have used the forum file attachment function, which is not very desirable because all you see is a small thumbnail, which you then have to click on to see the whole picture.

This is why we have provided a gallery function that is free to all members. You can upload web-res photos there and then show them in forum posts by copying display code from the gallery page where the photo is. As it's also in the gallery you can see exif data if present and categorise your photos and others can leave comments and rate your photos.

It is confusing - which I should apologise for! In fact I am considering disabling attachments in the forum as they distract people from using the gallery.

Ian

PS Your shot is nice but rather too small to really appreciate. I recommend 800-900 pixels wide or 700-800 high for portrait shots.

Re: 150mm F2

Thanks Ian,

I followed the instructions shown for attachments, hence the small size. I will have another go later on.

Cheers

Re: 150mm F2

Thanks Chevvy,

I guess that's the benefit of a SHG lens on the E-5, what a great buy that was.

Cheers

Re: 150mm F2

That's a gorgeous portrait. You can see the look in his eye as he covets that lens...

Re: 150mm F2

John, how could you have made such a mistake in determining gender.
That's not a covetous look at all.
It is most definitely a "now just how much has he spent now?" look.
