Thanks for the 'heads up'.

Looks like the only change for the DNG Converter is the addition of more cameras.

I'd be carefull before installing the lightroom update and check the lightroom forums as there appears to be bug in it!

Thanks Paul for the warning.

Frightening isn't it. A company as big as Adobe making this mistake. Most companies do BETA testing using volunteers, but only after it passed their stringent checks. Seems neither approach was applied here.

Re: Adobe updates for lightroom and Camera Raw

Always a risk when applying an update that something will break, alas Adobe do seem to drop more clangers than you would expect. E.g. the first E-3 support in Camera Raw was flawed and a new version had to be issued.

Adobe have pulled the updates and are recommending people go back to the previous versions;

That's about the most painful thing a software supplier can do.. that must have hurt..!

Brave and honest action though !

But OMG - modifying EXIF in RAW because of a bug... they are going to need to work hard to recover from that embarassment

Regards
Andy

Re: Adobe updates for lightroom and Camera Raw

Strange, I was on the update site to download Lightroom 1.3.1 and I find that version 1.4 is still there. I thought it had been pulled.
