Firth of Forth Sunset

I, and my E1, were out and about in East Lothian tonight and stopped to enjoy the sunset at Longniddry Bents. I struggled a bit with the sun dipping in and out of the clouds, and admit that I again forgot the ISO had been left at 800.

Finally, cropping into the Edinburgh skyline

I especially like the second one, and the third shot is good in that this scene is notoriously difficult to portray. Goodness knows I've tried often enough!

Re: Firth of Forth Sunset

Chris,

I like no3 best, but I wonder if 2 would have been better being taken nearer the ground; still good though.

The last one really works for me. I like how the horizon line has that streak of lightness.

That Pano's a cracker, the light is just super. Definitely my favourite of the set.
