Recent walks...

Here's a few shots....
From recent walks around Midgham and Ashmansworth.

Kennet valley by Huw Prosser, on Flickr

St Matthews Midgham by Huw Prosser, on Flickr

Crux Easton wind turbine by Huw Prosser, on Flickr

All taken using Olympus glass (though the camera wasn't), hope that's OK.
Thanks for looking.

Re: Recent walks...

I am quite fond of the 16:9 format...Would the first photo be better in that format?

I don't use that format on the camera, but often use it in Lightroom on photos.....

Hi Mark, yes the first photo is already cropped 16:9 in Capture One, it's definitely my preferred crop for this kind of image.

#3 does it for me, Huw.
I was wondering when we were going to be treated to more of your walks.

Re: Recent walks...

Love the first shot Huw
The mono shot is rather flat IMO is the low contrast look the aim here?

Thanks Alf, I appreciate your comments.
Yes I wasn't going for a harder mono look with that image. Nevertheless I can see why you might think it would work better that way.

Here's a slight rework...
