Afternoon Sun

Spotted on my afternoon walk in the forest.

Still only another two weeks or so and the evenings start drawing out.

Re: Afternoon Sun

Lovely one Andy - that's very atmospheric.

Don't be too quick to wish the return of the longer days - it's this time of year when you can get really lovely shots like this one. Another advantage of the shorter days is that you don't have to get up at 3am to catch the sunrise !

I suspect there are lots of other shots in the 'draw' for POTD.

I agree with Thea - it may take a long time for the light to start and it may go awfully early - but that low sun is rich in opportunities.

Great shot Andy - really evocative of the season, why didn't you keep it for the competition (maybe you can still enter it).

Nick
