Re: Can i stay logged in

As long as you have cookies enabled and have ticked the "remember me" box you should be ok. I've been logged in for months!

I use Firefox as well and don't have problems, not that's any help to you .

The site is not yet https (SSL) enabled - I wonder if that is a clue? I'm working to move to SSL any day now.

I also use Firefox and have the login details stored in the browser. Maybe that's a clue?

Re: Can i stay logged in

When you tick the box 'Remember Me?' a cookie will be created to authenticate you automatically when you revisit the site.

Your browser, depending on the privacy settings, will produce a pop-up that asks if you would like your ID and password to be remembered.

The two are complementary. Are your privacy settings set to standard?

Re: Can i stay logged in

Firefox says it has my login for this site stored and when i ask it to show password it does, not sure about my privacy settings.
I wonder if you not having https (SSL) enabled is conflicting with my McAfee.

Has anyone suggested deleting e-group cookies? You will need to enter your password again after this but hopefully the new cookies generated will work properly.
