Royal Garden Party

Last week my wife and I had the pleasure of going to a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. Cameras were allowed, but not 'large cameras'. So my little Olympus Mju II was my choice for the day. Unfortunately it rained most of the day so that put paid to my original intention of shooting Agfa CT Precisa 100 transparency film. Instead I loaded up with Kodak Portra 400.

All in all, a very enjoyable day despite the rain.

The Iphone was nothing to do with me though. I realised I was never going to get a clear shot of the Queen from where I was standing so decided to take a shot of the person in front of me instead. Kind of ironic as well because I believe the Queen hates mobile phones so it kind of seemed appropriate to take a photo with a film camera of someone photographing her with a phone.
