50-200 swd

Just a call to see if anyone has one of these hanging around that they'd like to sell? I can give it a good home....

Re: 50-200 swd

I'm still interested in buying one of these - if anyone wants to free up some cash to buy a certain new camera/lens ?

Re: 50-200 swd

You are lucky!! Anyone else got one one for sale. I would prefer non SWD.
Depending on price may go for the SWD.

I have one (SWD) that doesn't see much use, I am however in the US. I don't know how to price it accordingly, with shipping or exchange fees and everything else I read about on this forum. Suggestions? You have a price range?

Re: 50-200 swd

Hi S4ean

Grateful thanks for responding. I have purchased from US in the past. It can be complicated. Custom processing can be a problem - tax. Also , the exchange rate. Do you have a price in mind? The costs overall could be prohibitive.

Re: 50-200 swd

I believe I'd be looking for around £550. I've only shipped to Ireland before outside the states, a few years back... so I'm not too familiar with all it entails.

Re: 50-200 swd

The price is very fair for SWD model. However, the on costs could drive up the price to the extent that the sale does become expensive. As mentioned earlier I would prefer a non SWD. I hope someone else on the forum takes up your offer.

In addition to shipping costs you would need to factor in 20% VAT, about 2% Import Duty on the value of goods and shipping, plus a Brokerage Charge (usually between 8 and 14 depending on courier).
