First attempts with M1

Today being the first since buying my M1 that did not suffer leaden skies and almost unremitting rain I ventured out to try it. The images below were taken this morning at Buckler's Hard on the Beaulieu River.

The double row of cottages - the ships were built in the space between them. mFT12-40mm

A short walk upstream is a hide so tried the FT70-300mm. He was a bit far away, this is approximately 60% linear crop and I am not sure I have the focus point in the right place.

Next 2 were taken with the mFT40-150mm - quite impressed by this little lens especially as with the Olympus 150 cashback offer the net cost to me was about 20

Back to the 12-40mm

I like that first shot (even though its probably the one that everyone takes ). Talk about living on the job.

You had a lovely day to finally try out your new toy, David.

"A hundredth of a second here, a hundredth of a second there even if you put them end to end, they still only add up to one, two, perhaps three seconds, snatched from eternity." ~ Robert Doisneau

A nice set David, much better weather than the weekend
That 40-150 certainly punches above it's weight in more ways than one.
