Pacific Gull


Hello all, I guess in the UK you're still in holiday mode sitting by log fires and enjoying the snow.
Well it's quite the opposite here, we stay indoors out of the heat, or drive to the coast where Pacific Gulls fly.

Do they have the "pest " value in OZ like they do here as a result of their tendency to steal ones chips or ice-cream!

Really nice images. Guess you got quite close.

It looks similar to our great black backed gull.

Not a pest, Chris. Pacific gulls don't 'steal' our junk food, they forage for organic, macro biotic stuff!

Focal length: 169mm with Zuiko 50-200mm, so not that close, Rob.
