I have (with help and advice from knowledgeable members), managed to upload some pics to the Gallery under nature. How do I get them from there to Foto Fair or other sections for feedback? Everything is still trial and error at the moment.

You will find some icons under the picture in your gallery. Look for the one that has a pen on paper design. Mouse over it and it should say something like Edito Photo. Click on that and then you can either change the category using the drop down menu options or 'Copy image to...' which keeps the image in the original category and puts a copy in the new category.

Simply copy the link, shown under your photo in the gallery, and then post it into your post/reply. When you click on submit the photo will appear in the post.

Trying to copy the link, but it will not allow for "right click copy and paste" instruction, do I have to manually copy info?
Tried other method using icons however it did not offer link to Foto Fair, only major galleries.

Re: New uploads

Just click on the link so it goes blue, then Control and C. Then in your post do Control and V. Have just looked at one of your pics so here goes:

Re: New uploads

Hi thanks to SPT's thread and the rest of you, I've now learnt how to do this! Right clicking for me didn't work but Control C etc., did.

I can now post some reasonably sized shots instead of thumbnails.

God bless you all!

Bob

Re: New uploads

Sorry about the confusion - right click is disabled in the gallery when viewing images to prevent casual theft of images. CTRL-C will work after highlighting the image links though.

Ian this is the second thing I've learnt today! The other was how to focus using "Live view" which was posted somewhere and which I printed out some time ago but only looked at today. Couldn't find it in the manual. If I learn how to do two new things everyday, I'll be a fantastic E-systemer soon
