Walkabout camera

Hi I used to have a Epl-1 that I sold ages ago and wouldn't mind getting something similar for the wife as a walkabout camera with lens Epl-1,Epl-2,Epl-3 and so on I doesn't matter.its her birthday a week today so I have got long.As ive already took her to Skye my budget has to be under 150 for body and lens, something like the 14-42mm is fine.Ffordes have a Ep-2 and lens for 130.just let me know.

Re: Walkabout camera

I'd second Graham's suggestion of the XZ-2. I've used it's sister camera - the Pentax MX-1, which pairs the same lens and sensor in a different body - and was very impressed by the results even in challenging lighting conditions. They outclassed comparison images taken with the Fuji X20 which supposedly has the advantage of a larger sensor but in reality turned out more noise and more mush.

Re: Walkabout camera

Well, the budget is perhaps a challenge - but I've just donated my old E-M5 to my wife and sans-grip with the Lumix 12-32 it's a pretty small and powerful beast. You could probably do the same with an E-PM2 or E-PL5 for maybe £250.
