Clearing RAM app.............

On occasions, the computer slows down and almost becomes unusable. This often occurs after using programmes such as Photoshop, and today after using Recuva.

I am assuming the RAM is clogged up with data from these sort of programmes.

Having googled the subject, there are several apps that purport to clear RAM, including using Notebook to produce some sort of command.

Any suggestions that have been tried and work would be appreciated.

My only alternative is to reboot, which takes quite some time. I have 8Gb of RAM
