Monitor Recommendations

Hello All,

I'm looking to replace my ageing IIyama monitor with a 27" monitor.

Any recommendations out there?

Thanks,

Chris

I've got the smaller Dell U2412M and it's been very good.

Re: Monitor Recommendations

I have the Apple monitor & really pleased with it. Although calibrate once a month it never seems to shift calibration. You may want to look at the new 4K TVs about to launch about 1/2 price of existing ones which are excellent monitors

Re: Monitor Recommendations

Thanks for all your recommendations. There is a bewildering choice.
Lynne, I am staying with PC. I am going to custom build my own - micro form factor with solid state drive. It will be very fast, which is my only beef with my current ageing machine.

Re: Monitor Recommendations

Hi Chris
As Peter states apple monitors are great but can be expensive. Otherwise have a look at IPS screens. Depends on size, shape etc. and also connections. Have a look (for example):

Not an easy task Lynne

Re: Monitor Recommendations

I got the Dell U2413 (which is equal til the U2713H I believe) and it's VERY good. The best is hardware calibration though you have to but the i1 Display Pro from x-rite.
