Om converter on digital lens

Help . I have detached my om lens, but left the converter on the camera... I then foolishly never noticed this and attached my normal digital lens.
It seems to be stuck . Is there any way to safely remove this.

To add I can take the whole thing off the camera, but I can't seem to detach the converter from the lens

I'm thinking hacksaw. I can't see anywhere I could press to release ( I think they are on the lens side unfortunate)

Re: Om converter on digital lens

Before the Hacksaw - though I fear you may have already damaged the 4/3'rds lens mount.

If your central heating is on try leaving the lens on top of a radiator for a couple of hours, a little gentle warming may help.

Similarly an hour in the fridge - whilst not really recommended for a lens might work.

Leaving for a day or so (totally - no sneaking up for a little try), sometimes it's infatuation and not a true bonding.

Mayhaps a little penetrating oil around the joint might work (or it might soften the plastic so it welds).

There are far more mechanically skilled members around - perhaps they'll have an idea before the hacksaw appears.

In the meantime if there is no lens on the camera - keep the body cap in place.
