Macro Photography - E-510 with 35mm F3.5 Macro Lens

Just three examples of photographs of flowers in our garden taken last summer with the E-510 and the 35mm F3.5 Macro lens.

I still consider the E-510 is great value for money.

Ray.

Nice shots. Handheld or tripod?

I am still looking to raise money for the 12-60mm, but I am also interested in the 50mm macro.

The wife and I are getting annual passed to Bowood. If I get the time I will try to get images over a 6 month time frame.

Don't hesitate, Its a grand lens and useful as its very good as a normal 70mm lens and makes the camera very compact if you don't need to lug everything else with you. It has only one drawback, Its a bit short for living object close ups as you frighten them away with needing to get so close. Fotosense are a very reliable firm to deal with.

Here's one with my 105mm Sigma.

Its extra reach is also handy for stalking insects on the ground - you don't have to stoop too much!

A really lovely group of pictures, I wish I could say I have a favourite but there are too many there that I like a lot.
