Legacy prime lenses

I have decided to reduce the number of 'legacy' lenses I have. Most are Tamron prime lenses which I have always found very good, especially the SP range.

Details of Tamron lenses here

http://www.adaptall-2.com/lenses/Ada...LensIndex.html

and SP range here

http://www.adaptall-2.com/lenses/SP_...LensIndex.html

All lenses are in excellent condition and complete with lens caps and OM adaptor. They will need an OM to 4/3 or MFT adaptor.

Tamron 24mm f2.8 Model 01BB (this makes a very good 'standard' on 4/3)
Tamron 28mm f2.8 BBAR multicoated
Tamron 90mm f2.5 SP macro.
Tamron 300mm f5.6 SP
Tamron x2 teleconverter (works well with 300mm) dedicated OM fit - not Adaptall

Also for sale

Vivitar (Komine made) 28mm f2.8 M42
Photax 400mm M42 (some signs of use)

I am open to offers based on recent average ebay prices - 10%. I will taking pictures of and with the lenses to put it all on ebay next weekend, if you need any info please contact me.

Re: Legacy prime lenses

I hadn't sorted out prices on my first post - here are the asking prices:

Tamron 300mm SP will be 70 or 85 if you want the x2 teleconverter. I would recommend it, it's pretty good and can be used with your other lenses.

x2 converter alone 20

Tamron 90mm SP Macro and adaptor 75

Tamron 28mm 20

Tamron 24mm - sold subject to payment etc

Vivitar 28mm 10

Photax 400mm 15

All plus postage at cost.

Re: Legacy prime lenses

Tamron 24 has arrived safe and sound - Thanks Mike.

Took it with me this afternoon for a few test shots and all worked OK.

Re: Legacy prime lenses

I'm glad it's OK. what camera was it on for those shots?

I used to like it on my Olympus E510 but it, plus the rather large MFT to 4/3 Panasonic adaptor, was a bit big on my Panasonic G1. I generally use the tiny little Voigtlander 25mm Skopar in Leica M fit now if I want a 'standard' prime.

Re: Legacy prime lenses

It was on my 520. Seems comfortable to use with that one although I can see it would be a bit chunky for a G1. It's way bigger than the Oly 24/2.8 which matched up very well with the 410 I used to have.
I may do some sort of comparison between the Oly, Tamron 24, Tamron 24-48 and zd 14-54 with an emphasis on handling as well as IQ.
Thanks Again.

Re: Legacy prime lenses

Prices are pretty good, especially for vivitar 28 and tamron sp 90/2.5. Due to the customs limit I can't buy but if I was in UK I wouldn't miss it!
