Chiffchaff and Blossom

A Chiffchaff surrounded by Blackthorn blossom (I think.) This was one of about fifteen at Lowestoft North Denes last Thursday. A lovely sight and sound.

E-M1 II, 300mm f4 and MC-14.

Re: Chiffchaff and Blossom

Many thanks for the kind comments and 'likes'. I went for a walk yesterday and was pleased to hear numerous Chiffchaffs still singing in the sunshine. I love Spring!

Very nice but I think it's Wild Cherry. Blackthorn has sharply-pointed side shoots.

Thanks Harold. I think you are right. I had a look at the tree again yesterday and there was no sign of any thorns on the branches.
