Re: Hi, newbie from Cornwall

Hi there Tucksy!

I'm not from Cornwall but I'll be down your way next week for a holiday in St Ives'. Welcome to the forum, we're a pretty friendly bunch and if you have any questions there will be someone who can point you in the right direction.

Cheers,

Ralph.

G'day Tucksy. I'm not from Cornwall or even Wales but New South Wales, down under. You've come to a great forum here & I'll be looking forward to your photos.

Re: Hi, newbie from Cornwall

Welcome. You've just joined one of the very best, most knowledgable and approachable camera forums on the web.

I may be biased, of course, but you only have to try a few others (e.g. many of those over at dpreview) to know its true.

In May this year I had a couple of days shooting in the Helford Estuary and West Penwith after a hiking holiday with some friends - a lovely part of the world, but this reminds me that I still haven't got round to processing those images!
