Dipper

This was my first opportunity to try out the Tokina 300mm 2.8 lens and 2x converter since purchasing them. Fitted on my OMD. This short video is of a dipper on the local river.

Thanks for looking

Paul

Re: Dipper

Not really into video, so can't really comment on technicalities . I enjoyed watching this little bird cheeping away, although the sound of the rushing water made it difficult to hear.

Re: Dipper

I must admit that video captures more of the behavioral traits than stills. That little bird looked cold and seemed reluctant to enter the freezing water again. Rather him than me!

Yes I have to agree the sound of the Dipper is drowned out by the running water.(The bird sounded louder in real life than on the recorded clip.
Does anyone know if there is free of cheap software that allows the various levels to be adjusted , so the Dippers call is amplified in relation to the sound of the running water?

On the contrary the bird spent quite some considerable time in and under the water searching for food and nesting material. Certainly did not seem to be feeling the cold as much as I was.
