The Invasion Has Started.

Heard the noise and rushed outside with the camera. Saw this in the distance. Hold camera up above my head to clear the fence, centre, and click. No time for any fancy control adjustments - this is as it comes.

Re: The Invasion Has Started.

I can envisage a certain door getting busted in about 3am and the occupants whisked off for a long stay to somewhere in Cuba.

Of course, when the details are put up on D T's favourite web-site, it will be classed under 'FAKE NEWS'.

Re: The Invasion Has Started.

We have a problem, Portsmouth is being invaded Wednesday by a cast of thousands and me to catch a ferry to Spain so I hope the cast of thousands either travel down very early or relatively late.

Re: The Invasion Has Started.

Sorry I misdirected my last post, OM, it was your brilliant shot, not Wally's.

OM, you were lucky no 'sharp shooter' was pointing a gun at you from the copter.
Anything that moves (or looks like it might) is shot at over there.

We had an invasion here too. Three war ships from China in Sydney Harbour & yes, the cold low pressure too. Rain over Sydney & lower Blue Mountains & snow in the upper Mtns (from Katoomba & west).

If you'd watched last night's "Dispatches" on Channel Four there's no way you'd ever eat US-sourced chicken ...

He's still orange, so I guess the chlorine has been spared so far.

I did watch it - and I won't!

Suddenly Quorn looks like a healthy and tasty alternative.

Re: The Invasion Has Started.

Quorn is an alternative but it's not very tasty on its own John unless you almost burn it! You just have to be more creative with the sauces. We eat it quite a lot as my other half is vegi.

Chlorinated chicken will be the very least of our problems. The NHS will be on the negotiating table of a U.S./U.K. trade agreement - the U.S. ambassador has already said so!
