Anyone used one of theses, 100mm F2.8 ED UMC MACRO?

No experience of using it, but it is manual focus and should be sharp as it is designed for full frame so you will only be using the centre portion of the glass.

He doesn't recommend it since it is expensive and underperforms compared to the Tamron 90mm macro with AF. But, that (the Tamron) is not an option for u4/3, so you it might be worth looking at if you can get it cheaply enough (a lot less than the 400+ RRP)

The reviewer says the image was at f0. No it wasn't, that means that the camera didn't know which aperture had been set.

As for "a useful hyperfocal scale is sadly absent". Such a scale is not useful on telephoto lenses, although it is marked for f22.

Why would you prefer that lens to a Kiron 105mm?
