Four from work

Four from work. Its been a busy first week back. Out taking photos four days this week.

First Pilkington Jackson's statue of Robert the Bruce at Bannockburn.

Then a sign of spring in Tranent Churchyard.

and just as I'm leaving the office. Always have a camera with you.

Enjoy.

We'll see what next week brings.

Re: Four from work

Ah Robert the Bruce, a local historical character from my neck of the woods. For a while he owned Hatfield Forest in Essex, although I don't know if he ever visited it.

I wonder if Alex Salmond will eventually achieve what Robert the Bruce couldn't - full independance for Scotland. Actually, I'd rather he extended his fight south of the border, fielding SNP candidates in every English constituency at the next election. They'd get my vote!

Four good pictures, Duncan.

Re: Four from work

All I knew of Robert the Bruce is long forgotten, at school I confess to not having paid much attention to history. However, Neil Oliver's series on History of Scotland has been filling in gaps.

The dramatic silhouettes are marvellous, Duncan.

Mark, you are forgiven. I know very little about Ned Kelly!
