It's not snow it's heavy fog falling

Looks like snow to me but according to GMTV weather it's heavy fog falling.
One thing I do know it was bl***ing cold.

The first shot's by the missus
What do you think? Please don't rate it above mine I have to live with her.

I like the 2nd shot, its not IR is it? Kinda looks IR like.

3rd looks a little OOF to me though

Cheers

I love the second shot ... the birds in the top right hand corner of the frame add a nice touch of detail to me although I can't help thinking it would be better still if the branches entering the base of the shot were removed.

Good stuff!!

Three fine shots, although the third is a bit soft (but not inappropriately so given the circumstances - a bit more 'softness' and it could almost have been a statement).

It is pretty close between the first and the second, If the trees and woodwork had been a little crisper I'd have given it to the first image. In which case you would have been borrowing her camera.

Hi Karl

No1 & No2 both transmit the atmosphere very well. I also agree with Nick's comments re No3.
To maintain peace in the household, I would be hard put to say which of the first two comes out on top.

I think I prefer the first. Seems to convey the atmosphere of the these foggy days better than the second, although the second is a great shot.

sorry if that stirs things up a bit.

Re: It's not snow it's heavy fog falling

All fine shots, but must admit the second is my favourite. With the great range of tone and the birds to bring life to the shot, I think by far thes best.
Graham.
