Re: The nuts worked

Lovely - and the windows look a bit cleaner

How about trying a couple of logs/blocks to bring him up to window level?

Nick

The other half will be delighted you noticed her hard work.Good idea Nick I'll try some small logs as a climbing frame and put the seeds on top.I want to leave the window open but she who must be obeyed reckons he'll come in and she's not keen on that
Cheers Iain

Re: The nuts worked

Very nice.
He's quite dark in fur but nicely offset by the paint on the windowsill acting as a reflector.
I tried to photo one in aviemore in January but either it or me couldn't stay still enough

Iain, as I was reading this post and the pervious one I was about to reply and say why not just invite the little guy indoors but I guess the Mrs didn't think that would be a good idea, and perhaps just as well he did stay outside as they like to chew things and it really doesn't matter what if they are indoors. Great pic's of the little guy though and now that you have given him some treats he will be back every day looking for more you can bet on that.

Good idea!
You could get quite artistic arranging photogenic wood products on your windowsill. how about a nice Bonsai?

I look forward to seeing what the squirrel gets up to next ...

I just discovered a bird's nest in my outhouse : don't quite know how to catch the birds for photos without getting spotted, but I just got a couple of more MF zooms in a Ricoh kit on e-bay so they might come in handy.
