Re: EM-1 + 75-300 mk1 BOP images

Thanks all, when it worked well the mk1 was an excellent performer but the mk2 is even better, so I can't wait for my next trip up to the HCT

The Barnie was an easy shot and well within the system's capabilities whereas the Lanner shot was something of a surprise but, as I found out, it was only the start of a remarkable performance by the system (it was part of the sequence when I tracked the bird right down from the stoop to taking the lure and finally convinced me that the EM-1 really was a capable BIF camera )

The first of a most unusual owl (?) of sorts is my pick of a very competent set there, Brian.

Re: EM-1 + 75-300 mk1 BOP images

Thanks Mark & Phil, that "Unusual Owl" is a classic British species, the Barn Owl Mark.

Sadly becoming less common as their preferred nesting places and hunting habitat are disappearing but a lovely sight when seen hunting low over meadows early morning or late evening.

They are totally silent when they fly
