Should I jump ship to Nikon?

Sometimes I don't think I am taken seriously because my camera doesn't sport the N-Word. But wait: Look at this:
Latest news from a photo review site.. Nikon really have pulled out the stops and totally left the other brands in the dust:

"Nikon are introducing a small format metal bodied camera with a top quality feel. Bulky polycarbonate is old hat and this solid retro look is what the market needs. We have been saying this for years. At last someone is listening.

It has a new sensor that is matched to a new range of telecentric, designed for digital lenses. Again, we have waited in vain for a manufacturer to move away from the conventional tyranny of full frame and APS-C. Well done Nikon for doing this, we have long supported smaller sensors.

It is sixteen megapixels. This is the ideal resolution as long as the lenses are up to it. We have never supported higher resolution just for the sake of it. Now Nikon has shown everyone that less can be more.

It gets better. They have put image stabilisation in the body, so all your lenses are stabilised. A brilliant idea. Why did it take Nikon to point the way?

You get an EVF, which is the way viewfinders should always have been. Well done Nikon for taking our comments on board. There's Live View as well - an essential feature we have always been enthusiastic about.

So, here it is ; The Nikon DM-0"

Talking about leaving other brands in the dust, have they also introduced a revolutionary sensor dust removal device which works?

Yes, you're quite right: Another Nikon "first". The other manufacturers really should watch and learn.

Don't you just wish you could be up there with the leaders... leading from the rear.

My old Nikon FM, which was a Good Camera BTW, was silver ..... Perhaps that's the solution! Silver cameras are best! Good on Nikon for inventing this as well!

It won't be popular and will never catch on, DSLR's are here to stay, this new mirrorless stuff is just a fad.
