Anyone want to extend their mortgage for the 90-250 at 900.00 off.

I'd never get away with sneaking something that big into the house.

Easy. Just put it in a big box and and carry it in when everone is at home. Let anyone who is curious feel the weight, then tell them it's a lens for your camera. They'll split their sides laughing and then say something like, "Pull the other one!"

It's smaller boxes I have trouble with......and there's an E3 due in the next few days!

Any ideas for an excuse I can use?

John

Re: Good Deal???

I just tell her it's a filter. Since she doesn't know a filter from a tripod.....

Absolutely no chance

We've always found it's best to tell the truth, and try to make sure we both get treats when we can afford them. Thank goodness we're getting past the stage of needing to pretend we want either more vacuum cleaners or electric drills for Christmas and birthday presents.

Re: Good Deal???

Has anyone got any ideas as to why Olympus has chosen to let these top of the line lenses be reduced so significantly? Such a large reduction on the 90-250 for example, is there an upgraded SWD version on the way? The 90-250mm is my dream lens of the range, perhaps I should sell the car before the end of June.

Of course, those lovely Olympus guys could simply be trying to help us now that the credit crunch is upon us!!

Cheers

Chris

Re: Good Deal???

We are about to order the 12-60 lens from Scotland. Should we wait or is it a lens that won't be discounted by Olympus?
