I wasn't much impressed with this hardware shop. It was all a bit out of date.




I had to insist before I was shown the "good stuff out the back"

Wish I had known been looking for a hand sickle I just cannot get on with these modern strimmer things and I have to start the generator to get electrickery to make it go.

Excuse my ignorance, but what are theY? Plates the kids can't throw about ? Or something to do with bread making? ( Just a guess )

OK, I will come clean. They are bread proving boards. The dough rises in the hollows and then it gets cooked. No I don't know what the little knob is for.

This was the small but excellently formed museum at Steni in NW Cyprus.
