Honey Bee on Verbena

In my garden. The best out of about 20. EM 1 Mk2 40-150mm Pro +16mm extension tube at 15omm.1/500sec F5.6 400 iso.
I want to get one in flight, not so easy, need practice.

Re: Honey Bee on Verbena

Cracker.
Extension tubes with the 40-150 and 300 Pros work a treat for this sort of thing and you can maintain a distance that stops you disturbing the insect (or getting stung!).
Iíve been experimenting using these setups with handheld focus stacking: itís a little hit and miss if the subject is moving at all, but itís often surprisingly good even using the in-body jpeg. You can often get a really nice in-focus limit effect if you use full aperture and carefully choose the images to stack manually in post (Iím using Affinity). Iíll post a few when Iíve practised some more.
