I agree, but I would also say there there will be riots later as 'Project Reality' really starts biting. Many of the turkeys that voted for Christmas are already getting windy as they hear the sound of knives being sharpened!

The C.B.I. have reported that car manufacturers are getting very anxious about their future in the U.K.. Still, they're incompetent as has already been established on this forum and therefore deserve to go!

I think the scaremongering has got ridiculous as well as plumbing the depths of fear, trouble is, so many people believe it because it nicely dovetails with their perception of what could happen.

So are you suggesting that motor manufacturers are scaremongering and why would they want to do that?

Re: Political: We're doomed, Captain Mannering...

One has to wonder at what the future reality 'really' will be? Seems that there are firms within the EU who are already dedicated to relocating into the UK... what do they know that we don't?

Could it be, that they too are planning for the future and that the EU - foundations as is - are beginning to show internal cracks? If so, our leaving could be the finger, once removed from the hole in the wall that lets the flood-water in flushing everything down the tubes?

Perhaps, some see the UK as some sort of life-boat and are booking - unlike Jeremy & Co., - early seats as a precaution? Better to be able to swim than drown because your hands are tied behind your back.

One of the hardest things to hear (read) is that which you don’t want to, especially when it’s repeated again and again.

Also we will need to renegotiate import licensing for all the American cliches and idioms...

At least the current title has a “True British” origin.

You'll have to forgive him... now that the winter of discontent approaches, he really doesn't want to lose his comfort blanket.

OK then how about "Deja Vu" that might at least keep the pro EU people happy

No Jim, the scaremongering is coming from everyone who has, or seems to have, a vested interest in remaining. I think we should stay but I also think we should respect democracy (as otherwise there be dragons). Politicians of all parties (crap though they all are currently) should work together to get this sorted properly and not use it all as an excuse to split into factions, score political points and generally think about themselves rather than the job in hand. Oh, hang on that’s what they always do nowadays it seems.
Maggie (spit!) wouldn’t be pissing about like May is!

I see there is now talk of Davis looking at the PM position, where he will have to deal with Brexit, the very thing he did a Cameron over and ran away.

Not just the car makers:

"Businesses are becoming exasperated at the lack of progress in Brexit talks and are pausing or cancelling investment in the UK."

Interesting link Graham. I wonder what 'Project La, La, La I can't Hear You' make of it?
