Hand held 12-100 at night

At a night photoshoot yesterday on the Severn Valley Railway, I decided to experiment by leaving the tripod at home. So, just EM1 Mk 2 and the Olympus 12-100. Got some odd, pitying looks from my tripod-toting companions! Pleased to say that the combo seems to work very well and for me, the 12-100 beats the 12-40 because of the extra range.

Oh yes- almost as usual on these events I appeared to be the only Olympus user.

They were all without flash. Flash is not allowed on these organised night shoots- quite rightly so.

On these particular shots it was high ISO ( I chickened out a bit!)- 1000, 1250 and all the way to 3200. Also used +0.3 exposure compensation.
