Now that's a great idea - it might slow the b*ggers down once they've been caught a few times!

20 years ago, within 100 yards of where these bins are, my wife was hit head-on by a maniac doing 60 in a 30 limit. He lost control on a bend and his car decided it preferred Debbie's side of the road. Wrote her car off and nearly wrote her off too; she still has neck and back problems to this day.

Well, trust the Conservative new Government to take a leaf out of the Japanese "pods" for horizontal sleep space but ... they got it wrong ... they need to lay the bins down

Aye! you were lucky Chevvy - no cardboard left after we had lined the holes in our shoes so we could go to school.

You were lucky, we had to put grass into our shoes, drink at glass of sulphuric acid and lick road clean wit tongue.

Aye they don't know they're born these days.

Reminds me of the way we were taught chemistry:

Little Willie finding life a bore,
drank some H₂SO₄.
His father, being an MD,
gave him CaCO₃.
Now he's neutralised, its true,
But full of CO₂

I've just been reminded that the local village of Weeley is reportedly getting a few hundred new dwellings. Perhaps they'll be this design...
