Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

I updated to 7.0.2 and that lost connections with it.

Had to re-instate and login again.

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

I use the Tapatalk I-phone app when out and about and at home, which probably means I am counted several times in ip addresses being used.

One thing that puzzles me is I have one tab for "unread threads", which say has 15 threads and I choose not to read any of them, or just one or two.

But if I then return a few hours later, the number has dropped down to say the most two recent unread threads.

Is this a setting I can change? I only use tapatalk for this messageboard.

I guess that if you looked at the list of unread threads and didn't read them they will eventually time out and be considered of no interest.

Not sure if that is a function of Tapatalk or the forum - let me try to find out.

Ian

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

I've added another tapatalk forum on the app, and on the opening menu with the two fora, there is also a section called 'picks'. Not sure how they get there, but they all seem to be dated 1970 and are for the other forum.

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

I see the app has reinvented itself. And the picks 'feature' seems to have gone.

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

I find it loads quicker than before. I use timeline rather than unread because previously the unread would go down to nothing despite me not reading anything. 'Picks' whatever they were have disappeared.

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

Hi I had a tapatalk upgrade on the iPhone app. Now there is an exclamation mark on settings and I don't know how to get rid of it. Any ideas please?

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

I think it's just a part of the new icon for settings.

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

Indeed, but I've tried changing all the obvious settings and "reading" notices and it didn't go away, so now I just ignore it...

Re: Tapatalk users - please note...

Ok, also I've finally worked out what the * chr * * on the tapatalk version means by logging into the full website.
