The inevitable winter scene

Not had much opportunity to take photos outside in recent days so here is a start!

This is a small pond next a farmer's paddock near Flaunden, Hertfordshire taken this afternoon.

Re: The inevitable winter scene

Thanks guys - yes the bark worked well and the composition of the two distant trees framed by the nearer ones just fell into place nicely

Ah - do you mean the second of the three in the second post or the first of the three in the second post (and the second in the thread)?

Re: The inevitable winter scene

Very nice, Ian. It's great to see that you've found time to take some pictures yourself; recent problems with the server on top of your normal workload must have been driving you bonkers!

Re: The inevitable winter scene

What a superb bunch of snow scenes Ian.
I wish we had ventured out last weekend for a walk in countryside but minor roads were a lottery around here.
I particularly like the first two, thanks for sharing these.

I don't have another time view of this scene but that does sound like a good idea
